City of Duluth Municipal  Election Information

There are several ways to vote in the City of Duluth Municipal election scheduled for November 7, 2023.

• absentee voting by mail, or
• absentee voting in person (early voting), or
• election day in person.  All voters must present valid identification to cast a ballot.

Absentee Voting by Mail
The application will be available starting August 21, 2023 up to October 27, 2023.

 Ballots may be returned by the following options:

1). By mail (in the pre-addressed envelope) - include enough postage
2). Via dropbox, open in the City Hall lobby October 16, 2023 through November 3, 2023, 9:00am to 5:00pm (includes two (2) Saturdays)
3). In person - by the voter or authorized handler ONLY - to the Absentee Ballot Clerk at City Hall, October 16, 2023 through November 7, 2023, Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm during regular business hours (no Saturdays) and up to 7:00pm on election day

 Absentee Voting in person (Early Voting)
"Early voting" will be provided as per state law.  Voting will take place on the main level of Duluth City Hall, 3167 Main St, Duluth GA from 9am to 5pm 

Monday through Saturday October 16 - 21

Monday through Saturday October 23 - 28 

Monday through Friday October 30 - November 3

Election Day Voting in person
On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, polls are open 7am-7pm.  The polling place is located in the Community/Elections Room of Duluth City Hall, which is located on the basement level.
